an unsound concert



At Midnight, March 13, 1998 the third UNSOUND Concert proudly commenced as Ken Ishii and Cristian Vogel subsequently warmed the venue with their turntable stunts.

Wiggle performed their debut live set, complete with a guest appearance by the legendary Chu Ishikawa who enchanted us with sparks, hot metal, springs, smoke and lots of magic. Raphiel, the Australian member of Wiggle added his vibes via the Internet.

The evening climaxed with all the musicians joining forces to deliver an aural extravaganza. Each musician took turns leading the improv session, Cris with a Nord Lead, Ken with Rolands, Wiggle on guitar and sampler, and Chu on metals.

With the crowd still in awe, Tsutomu Iijima wrapped up the evening with his mad bpm selections.

Noone left with a 'sound' mind. Mission accomplished...
